Gaudi's wisdom
There are no straight lines in nature [or in my life].
Sometimes things fit better if you break them first.
Sometimes things that are already broken are beautiful if you fit them together with other broken pieces.
Two days in Barcelona have taught me to love Gaudi. What shameless audacity his work shows, and yet it's still so practical.
In response to comments, I stopped over in the UK for a night before joining my daddy-o in Spain. There had been a four day theology talk-a-thon (forum, conference something, I dunno) at the centre. I caught the tail end.
I'm recovering from jetlag and my first bout of homesickness. It's exciting to be in a country where most people can't speak English. Our amazing hostess speaks a beautiful French though. Stay well,
