I haven't blogged for a while because life has been manic. And it's mainly my personal life which has been so, rather than my work life (which is what this blog is more about.) It isn't that I don't still think about serious things, seriously, it's just that for the moment there are closer to home things getting sorted.

I've been blessed with so many visitors this summer, most recently my mother. The wide variety of people who have come through have made me reflect on how far and wide my web of affection has now been flung, and I feel just about ready to stop meeting new people. But as that isn't likely to happen, I'll just hope to meet fewer per week, so I can keep developing the relationships I have better.

I will also just share, that having a mother come visit is pretty amazing, because not only is a mother totally fighting for your corner, but she's happy (at least if you have my mother) to help you clean and reorganize your room to make it livable again! Thanks Mom! You're the best!
